In one line

Your tables, your history and your pulse oximeter readings are stored on your own device and are never sent to any server. No accounts, no signup, no advertising profiles.

Training and health data

The tables you build, your session history, your diver profile and the saturation (SpO₂) and heart rate readings from the oximeter are stored in your browser local storage, on your device. They never reach a server of ours or anyone else's, we cannot see them and we cannot recover them. Clear your browser data or uninstall the app and they are gone, with no backup.

The Bluetooth sensor

The oximeter connects directly between your device and the sensor. Values are shown during the session and saved with it, locally. No reading is transmitted off the device.

The tester form

If you sign up as a tester you send us your name or nickname, your Google email, your apnea level, your device and any comments you add. That reaches contact@capnia.app by email and is used only to add you to the Google Play closed test list and to keep you posted about the test. It is not shared with anyone. You can ask us to delete it by writing to that same address.

Visitor measurement

When enabled, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and no browser fingerprinting and cannot identify individuals: it counts page views, approximate country and device type. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising tool.

Third parties

Typefaces are served from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google servers and they receive your IP address. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which logs requests to run and protect the service. There are no other third parties: no embedded social networks, no tracking pixels, no advertising.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. It does keep two things in your browser local storage: the language you pick and the app settings. Both are technical, stay on your machine and disappear when you clear browser data.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of the only thing we hold about you — whatever you sent through the form — by writing to contact@capnia.app. We cannot delete your training data because we never had it: it lives on your device and you control it.
